It seems like remote work and virtual meetings are here to stay, and are more prominent ways of working than they used to be. As our conferences and workshops shifted online, we picked up some common lingo specific to virtual meetings. You already know the crying children in the background, aggressive typing and people talking on mute for a 2 hour lesson. How do you say these common phrases in Chinese though? We’ll be covering that in this blogpost, so if you ever have a virtual meeting in Chinese, you’ll at the very least be able to know what’s going on.
您/你处于静音模式。Nín/nǐ chǔ yú jìng yīn mó shì. /

看得到我的屏幕吗?Kàn dé dào wǒ de píng mù ma?
听得见吗?Tīng dé jiàn ma?
我听不见您/你的声音。Wǒ tīng bù jiàn nín/nǐ de shēng yīn
不好意思,我的网络信号不是很好。Bù hǎo yì si, wǒ de wǎng luò xìn hào bù shì hěn hǎo.
